Remembrance Parade – Sunday 8th November
The annual Remembrance Parade will take place on the morning of Sunday 8th November, starting at 10.30am from the War Memorial outside the Working Men’s Club.
Led by St Dennis Band, the parade will proceed to St Denys Church for the Memorial Service. Following the service, the parade will continue to Flanders Field in the Cemetery and St Dennis Academy for the laying of wreaths, before returning to the War Memorial for the final wreath-laying ceremony.
Residents are welcome to attend and join the community in remembering and paying tribute to all those who gave their lives in service.
Road Closures
Please be aware that road closures will be in place throughout the village to facilitate the parade. These arrangements have been made by the Parish Council, which will also manage the closures on the day.
Residents are asked to be patient and allow extra time for their journeys where necessary. The Parish Council thanks everyone for their understanding and cooperation while these arrangements are in place.
